As of 19th July 2021 the government has abandoned many of the safety measures we have been operating under for the past two months. So that we can keep staff, customers and performers as safe as possible, we are updating our Covid security procedures.
In order to enter the venue, you will require proof of a negative test from the last 48 hours OR proof of double vaccination.
This is the most important safety measure that you will need to be aware of before heading to us:
After 10pm on FRIDAY AND SATURDAY (when we are at our busiest) we will ask everyone coming to our venue to provide proof of a negative test, or proof of double vaccination.
For busy events like MAN UP! or LIPSYNC1000 we will ask everyone coming to our venue to provide proof of a negative test, or proof of double vaccination.
You will NOT be asked for any of this for casual drinks in the bar or for ticketed cabaret shows. BUT this may change soon.
To get proof of a negative test…
Lateral Flow Tests are available for free at pharmacies, test centres, and online here
After following in the instructions to get your test result, you can register it online by going here
Within two hours of registering your result you will get a text and email confirming your result, and either one of these is acceptable as proof on the door
Ideally the test and registering the result online should be done earlier on the day you visit us. NOT whilst you are in a queue!
To get proof of two vaccinations…
Either…
Download the NHS app (this is different to the NHS Covid app!)
You will need your NHS number; if you don’t know it, you can find it here
Your app will include a Covid Pass with your vaccination info
As things stand, we are not intending to scan the QR codes on the Vaccine passport. We will just ask you to open the NHS app and show us the info. THIS MAY CHANGE SOON.
Or…
Bring your vaccination card
Or…
Provide proof of full vaccination from another country, if you were vaccinated outside of the UK
Other Safety Measures
We will using additional measures to prevent the spread of Covid including
- Temperature checks at the door
- Staff wearing face coverings
- Maximum ventilation inside
- Reduced capacity
We greatly encourage everyone coming to our venues to test regularly and to stay at home if you have any symptoms. We also advise everyone to get BOTH vaccinations ASAP.
We will keep our Covid policies under constant review, and as soon as it is safe to do so will be working towards a more ‘normal’ setup.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we work together to keep each other as safe as possible.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
TEAM GLORY
