SUNDAY SERMON x QUEERIOSITIES
Sunday Sermon – A quasi-religious offering of music & performance every week from 7pm. This Sunday Service is brought to you by QUEERIOSITIES ft Rodent & Flick The Drag Queen
Founded and led by curator Davy Pittoors, Queeriosities is a traveling platform that elevates LGBTQIA+ creatives expressing their identities through art, craft and design. Ranging from pop-up dinners to full-scale art and makers fairs, our initiatives highlight those who have been historically sidelined and serve as a platform to knit our communities together and connect them and with new audiences. We encourage the spread of both contemporary and historical LGBTQIA+ objects, art and ephemera — and we aim to blur the lines between art and craft, museum and home, and archive and collection to open up new space for queer perspectives.
The Winter edition of Queeriosities (Art and Makers Fair) is hosted in partnership with the Museum of the Home and runs from 1 December – 3 December.
DOORS 2PM / SERMON FROM 7PM – FREE ENTRY!!
THIS SHOW IS IN THE MAIN BAR
Please note The Glory is a queer venue run by queer people, for queer people and their allies. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny and discrimination of any kind. Be respectful or you will be asked to leave. Strictly no office, hen or stag parties allowed.
The Glory is a very old building with pre-existing accessibility issues and while we’ve strived to make the space user friendly, there is no ‘easy’ wheelchair accessibility to all areas of the venue.
MAIN BAR ACCESSIBILITY:
The main bar is accessible, though the toilets are up a flight of 3 stairs with a handrail. Wheelchairs cannot access the toilets however. There is a local restaurant a few doors down who have an accessible toilet that they are happy for our customers to use.
To access shows in the basement there is a narrow flight of 12 stairs with a handrail.
The main bar has plenty of seats and tables. Ticketed shows are seated unless otherwise stated.
