Delivering you a platter of the UK’s best and brightest queer talent at the home of queer culture, The Glory in Haggerston!

This night will feature three incredible performers, all of whom are TV and Comedy Club regulars with profits going to The NSPCC, who work tirelessly to prevent abuse, help rebuild children’s lives and support families.

Katie Price

Katie Price is a fast-rising comedian who reached the finals of the LGBTQ Comedian of the Year award. In addition to this, she is also the resident host of the sell-out monthly comedy nights, Mazel Tov and Cocktails and Treif Comedy. She has performed across the UK and Israel, where she is a regular at the renowned ‘Off the Wall’ comedy club and has performed to thousands as part of Tel Aviv Pride. Unashamed to tackle important issues with a tongue-in-cheek charm, Katie finds humour in personal and societal issues and has been praised by many for her writing.

Sam Williams

Part-time naked butler, full-time Ariana Grande super fan Sam Williams has quickly become British comedy’s brightest ‘good-looking chap’ (Chortle.co.uk). 2023 Komedia New Comedy Award winner. 2021 Chortle Student Comedy Award runner-up. 2022 2Northdown New Act of the Year finalist. 2022 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year finalist. ‘Vivid, inventive, a winning personality… the complete package’ (Chortle.co.uk).

Pravanya Pillay

Pravanya Pillay is a stand up comedian, writer and producer. Described by Funny Women as “hilarious” Pravanya delivers surreal, observational comedy from a unique perspective.

As a writer she has written for BBC Radio Wales on the sitcom ‘Beena & Amrit’ and the sketch show ‘Welcome Strangers’.

She is the co-host and producer of Party – a trans/non-binary/female comedy night described by LMAOnaise as “the country’s finest night” and featured in The Guardian.

This summer Pravanya came joint-third in the prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition.

THIS SHOW IS DOWNSTAIRS

Please note The Glory is a queer venue run by queer people, for queer people and their allies. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny and discrimination of any kind. Be respectful or you will be asked to leave. Strictly no office, hen or stag parties allowed.

ACCESSIBILITY:

The Glory is a very old building with pre-existing accessibility issues and while we’ve strived to make the space user friendly, there is no ‘easy’ wheelchair accessibility to all areas of the venue.

MAIN BAR ACCESSIBILITY:

The main bar is accessible, though the toilets are up a flight of 3 stairs with a handrail. Wheelchairs cannot access the toilets however. There is a local restaurant a few doors down who have an accessible toilet that they are happy for our customers to use.

BASEMENT ACCESSIBILITY:

To access shows in the basement there is a narrow flight of 12 stairs with a handrail.

SEATING:

The main bar has plenty of seats and tables. Ticketed shows are seated unless otherwise stated.
