For our evening of Revellry, People Like Us are taking over iconic queer venue The Glory, creating a site specific installation of images and holding a cabaret featuring talented participants from the project to celebrate the work so far.

‘People Like Us’ is an ongoing collaborative photography project by artist Holly Revell, exploring trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming (GNC) identities and experience. Currently in its 4th year of development with plans for a photo-book next year.

7pm – Drinks reception, time to view the installation and browse / buy our merch.

8pm – Cabaret hosted by That Ray.

The Glory has gender neutral toilets.

The event will be held upstairs which has a wheelchair accessible entrance, however there are 3 steps to the toilets.

 

“The Glory is a queer venue run by queer people, for queer people and their allies. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny and discrimination of any kind. Be respectful or you will be asked to leave. Strictly no office, hen or stag parties allowed.”
