Birmingham’s iconic Drag King, Crip Ladywood, is bringing some of his favourite Brummie B*stard drag stars to The Glory for a Queer Christmas Extravaganza!

Yshee Black, celebrated star of stage and screen, Emberly, one of Birmingham’s funniest Queens, and Annie Mal, the she-wolf of Wolverhampton join Daddy Cripmas in celebrating the best bits of the festive season. It’ll be an afternoon of chosen family, love, merriment, games and partying though the long dark and it’s in the main bar so it’s a bit more accessible for one and all to get their jingle on.

Come join us for a gorgeous queer festive party, 2-4pm on the main floor of the Glory. Expect live singing, lip syncs, laughs, games, sing-a-longs and lots of joy for everyone.

Tickets:

  • £10 – General admission
  • £15 – Christmas Special –  (same as standard, but you get to meet Father Cripmas, get a picture, and get a b*astard prezzie from his sack!)

Only a limited number of upgrades to the Christmas Special Tickets will be available on the day, so to avoid disappointment book them early!

THIS SHOW IS IN THE MAIN BAR UPSTAIRS 

Please note The Glory is a queer venue run by queer people, for queer people and their allies. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny and discrimination of any kind. Be respectful or you will be asked to leave. Strictly no office, hen or stag parties allowed.

ACCESSIBILITY:

The Glory is a very old building with pre-existing accessibility issues and while we’ve strived to make the space user friendly, there is no ‘easy’ wheelchair accessibility to all areas of the venue.

MAIN BAR ACCESSIBILITY:

The main bar is accessible, though the toilets are up a flight of 3 stairs with a handrail. Wheelchairs cannot access the toilets however. There is a local restaurant a few doors down who have an accessible toilet that they are happy for our customers to use.

BASEMENT ACCESSIBILITY:

To access shows in the basement there is a narrow flight of 12 stairs with a handrail.

SEATING:

The main bar has plenty of seats and tables. Ticketed shows are seated unless otherwise stated.
