The UK comedy industry is saturated with queer acts leaving many heterosexual comedians with nowhere to go… besides All Bar One.
Join gay ally, Simon David’s search to find the UK’s funniest straight to win the prestigious SCOTY 2023 title, a Sports Direct Gift Card worth £100,000, an unlimited supply of Fosters and a Fiat 500.

Any act discovered not to be 100% straight will be disqualified and receive a SCOTY lifetime ban. LGBTQ+ audiences are welcome but a reminder that this is an event for straight people by a gay man celebrating straight people.
Simon David is a Musical Comedy Awards 2021 & 2022 Finalist, was shortlisted for New Act of the Year 2022 and has over 5 million views online. His 2022 hour, ‘White Gay’ won the Otherplace/Balkan Brighton Fringe Award 2021 and was recommended by the British Comedy Guide at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022 describing him as ‘a natural comedy all rounder’.
