Open Box – Drag King Open Mic night is back again this brand new year, after 2 sell out events in 2021. The baby brother of long running Drag King Cabaret Show BOiBOX, this open mic features a huge range of incredible Kings, some new, some not so new, all mesmerising.
Hosted by scene legends Adam All and Romeo De La Cruz, who guide you delightfully through the array of performances, this show features both live and video Drag King acts from all across the country. Its literally the Petri dish of Drag Kings, the birth place of so many, and you can witness the rise of new Kings and the launch of iconic new art in this endlessly evolving and exponentially growing scene.
Revenue from tickets goes towards the BOiBOND – a cash injection to reinvest in the one lucky Kings new work as chosen by the hosts and audience at the end of the night.
