This work in progress showing sees Xnthony channel England’s ‘Daddy of Democracy’ Oliver Cromwell as he explores England’s (mostly) untold story of colonisation in Ireland through pop, frothing at the mouth nationalism and contentious historical revisionings.
It’s a bloody riot.
With an electrifying blend of high tempo disco, acerbic cabaret and good old musical theatre this is the first chance for audiences to experience, and give feedback on this new production from an award winning creative team.
Performed and written by Xnthony with director Sam Curtis Lindsay (Burgerz), Sarah Blanc (I’m a Pheonix Bitch by Bryony Kimmings), ODU (song writer) and Lung Dart (Music production).
Limited Early Bird tickets are £5. Full price tickets are £8.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Show ends at 9pm ish.
Includes an interval.
This project is funded by Arts Council England, Camden People’s Theatre and Roscommon County Council.
