We noticed that for being one of the queerest industries, there aren’t many musicals telling those stories. So we have taken matters into our own hands, taking straight songs from the musical theatre canon and queer-ifying them to the gods! Proud 2 Be Here is a cabaret in celebration of stories left untold, carving a place for ourselves and highlighting our LGBTQIA+ members while we do it!
We are so thankful to have Charlie Bence, Daniel Breakwell, Hannah Cound, Hannah-Therese Engen, Jan Gunnar Garlid, George Lennan, Katy Reynard, Marnie Yule, and Jack Breeze on keys to make this night one to remember!
Catapult was founded by 2019 Mountview grads, who refused to get left behind in the chaos of the pandemic.
